Refineries

From grassroot to operating refineries, we have executed the entire gamut of process units while maintaining excellent safety and quality.

The successful completion of the Hydrocracker unit at Indian Oil Corporation’s (IOCL) Haldia refinery exemplifies our competence and experience in executing EPC projects for refineries. The project posed various challenges  – high pressure and heavy equipment and material installed in restricted space, erection of 530 MT equipment in a single piece, welding of high pressure piping, limited space availability for men and machines, and the need for special precautions as the site was in close proximity to the operating refinery. Almost 13 million man-hours were achieved to complete this project with a peak strength of 3,200 people.

The Delayed Coker Unit for Vadodara refinery of IOCL was another milestone project, with the erection of large coke drums – measuring 9.80 m in diameter, 42.90 m height and weighing 540 MT.

We have also delivered many process units ranging from sulphur blocks and visbreaker to petro-fluid catalytic cracking (PFCC) and methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) projects.
