The many awards and certification from our clients demonstrate their appreciation of our commitment towards HSEQ. In an audit conducted by TOTAL E&P Indonesie for high risk category, we achieved 85.7 per cent rating among the contractors working for TOTAL in Indonesia. Clients like Tengizchevroil/PFD International, Parsons Fluor Daniel in Kazakhstan, and Petroleum Development Oman have conferred honours for our high standards of HSEQ.

We have executed projects in undulating seabeds, dry deserts, rocky mountains, rainforest and marshes. Protection of the environmental wherever we operate is a given. Our staff is trained to consider the environment impact of their work, and endeavour to operate without causing any harm to nature. Measures are taken to reduce air and noise pollution, soil and energy conservation practices are adopted.

At the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline project, a preliminary geological survey identified the soil type, depth of topsoil, water table. During construction, topsoil was removed and preserved on one side of the ROW, subsoil on the other. Controlled blasting was done using explosives in rocky areas and rock breakers were employed in rocky, archaeologically sensitive areas. Special grading operations were used in ecologically sensitive areas where topsoil was preserved within geo-textile to keep the seeds and roots of endemic species intact. Archaeologists, zoologists, botanists and other environmental specialists supervised the clearing and grading activity to protect the flora.
