Polymers & Petrochemicals

We execute everything from feasibility studies, lump sum turnkey contracts and polymer treatment, to handling, conveying, storage, packing and shipping. We have been involved in all categories of polymerization processes including those associated with the production of LDPE, linear low density

polyethylene (LLDPE) and high density polyethylene (HDPE), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyester (PET) and acrylics. In petrochemicals, we have executed projects for the technologies of the Vinyl Chain, Oxo-Alcohols and Caprolactam.

In polymer manufacturing, we have designed and constructed more than 70 plants, including 35 for LDPE and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA). We have successfully built plants in locations ranging from greenfields to sites closely integrated with existing facilities. We built the world’s first 400 kta single stream LDPE plant in the UK. Beyond its sheer size, this project’s distinctions also included the use of advanced state-of-the-art equipment at the heart of the process. More recently, we have delivered two 300 kta LDPE plants in 2010, one in the Middle East and one in South- East Asia.

Chemicals

We offer solutions to a diverse range of chemical technologies including Sulphuric Acid, Chlor-Alkali, Titanium Dioxide and Aluminum Fluoride. The key to our success is our skills in technology transfer from renowned global technology providers to operating companies. We have delivered over 350 sulphuric acid plants globally and offer in-house technology in this area.
