One of the company’s remarkable achievements was the recent commissioning of the 5 MW solar power plant in Bap, Rajasthan under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission.
 
The company provided solar lighting solutions based on PV technology in the prestigious 2010 Commonwealth Games Village in New Delhi, India.
 
Also active in providing solutions for water treatment and distribution, Punj Lloyd Delta Renewables won India’s largest solar-based EPC contract for turnkey implementation of 850 solar powered water treatment plants for removal of arsenic and fluoride across multiple districts in the state of Bihar, India. The solar water treatment plants, designed and constructed by Punj Lloyd Delta Renewables, will resolve the severe ground water contamination in rural India. The combined solar power generation for these plants will be greater than 1.3 MW.
 
The company is also active in the biofuels sector, working with leading technology providers on the processing of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) and associated biomass waste, in the development of improved liquid fuels and the use of ‘non-food’ feedstocks.
